App: RWriter - No ads Writing | Last updated: March 2026
RWriter is an Android application developed for personal writing and note taking. The app works completely offline. There is no company server, no backend, and no cloud storage involved at any point.
We collect absolutely nothing. RWriter does not collect any personal information, device information, usage data, analytics, crash reports, or any other data of any kind.
The app does not have the INTERNET permission. It is technically impossible for RWriter to send any data anywhere.
Notes you write are stored locally on your device only. All note content is encrypted using AES-256-GCM encryption through the Android Keystore system. The encryption keys are stored securely in your device hardware.
This local data never leaves your device. Uninstalling the app permanently deletes all your notes and data from the device.
RWriter does not use any third party services, SDKs, analytics tools, advertising networks, or crash reporting tools. There are no third parties involved at all.
RWriter contains no advertisements. There are no ad SDKs integrated in the app.
RWriter does not collect any data from anyone, including children. The app is safe for all ages.
On Android 9 and below, the app requests storage permission only to allow you to export your notes to the Downloads folder on your device. This is a one-way write action performed only when you choose to export a note. No data is read from your storage beyond what you choose to export.
Since all data exists only on your device, you can delete all data at any time by simply uninstalling the app. There is no account to delete, no server to contact, and no request to make.
If this privacy policy is updated, the new version will be available at the same URL. The app will remain free and private forever.
If you have any questions about this privacy policy, you can reach out through the Google Play Store listing for RWriter.
